Walks near Bardolino
Lakeside walks
Some of the best loved walks in Bardolino are those along the lake, in both directions. Walking along the lake, you can head north to Garda, and continue further to Punta San Vigilio, or you can walk south, in the direction of Lazise.
The districts of Bardolino
This walk can be done in all seasons, but it is particularly attractive during autumn, to observe the colourful trees. Follow this itinerary to discover the historic districts of Bardolino, up to Val Quarole, between ancient courtyards and hills.
Walk in Valsorda
Starting from Bardolino, you can walk towards Paerno, and then explore the nature of Valsorda, with its alpine vegetation, streams and waterfalls: just follow the Valsorda route!
Hike to the Rocca
Another popular easy hike from the center of Bardolino is the one that leads to the Rocca, or the wonderful natural terrace on Lake Garda, possibly also including the nearby Eremo dei Camaldolesi on the way back.

From Bardolino to Lazise
This is a simple bike ride on a cycle path, between asphalt, unpaved roads and gravel, passing through the small port of Cisano.
From Bardolino to Garda
Another easy ride on a cycle path is the one that leads to Garda, with scenic views of the lake.
Riding through the hills of the countryside
On one side you have the lake, on the other you’ll find hills and vineyards: why not get on your bike to discover the countryside? For example, you could ride to Vallesana, Carlotte, Colombara and Calamasino.
From the vineyards to Forte Wohlgemuth
A well-known ride among local cyclists is the route that from Bardolino leads to Affi and then to Rivoli Veronese, to reach Forte Wohlgemuth. From there, you can head back through Caprino Veronese and Pesina, completing the loop.
